Effy Hematian came to the U.S. in 1979 with his wife and son, and a vision. He was driven by a strong desire to share his sense of style and his passion for quality craftsmanship. Today, his family business has grown to include his three sons, but Mr. Hematian remains highly involved and knows each piece by heart. What began with selling jewelry out of a suitcase in New York City has expanded over 30 years to include a vast array of collections available at fine retailers from the Caribbean to Alaska. Still, Effy Hematian is dedicated to keeping the majority of manufacturing in the U.S. to maintain the highest level of involvement and promote a strong sense of community.
